Halo 5: Guardians is a first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios. Released on October 27, 2015 for the Xbox One, the title is the sequel to 2012's Halo 4. Guardians was met with mixed reviews, with its multiplayer receiving praise while its gameplay was also received positively, though its narrative received a high degree of criticism. A sequel, Halo Infinite, released in 2021.
